- Qualification of new suppliers in Asia, including introduction of Brose standards
- Systematic optimization of all Asian suppliers within the scope of the complete process chain
- Planning and implementation of supplier workshops in coordination with the respective material group managers in order to detect and realize potentials
- Collection of supplier data and passing on of information to the central functions
- Up-dating key data and benchmarks for the evaluation of supplier performance
- Supporting relocation activities and short-term troubleshooting
- Supporting technology and process audits
Organizational Interface:
The position holder will work together with the following department within the company:
- Customer Teams and Industrial Engineering department in regard to the coordination of part-specific requirements
- Quality department in regard to the coordination of quality requirements, supplier releases and supplier evaluations
- Logistics department in regard to the coordination of logistic requirements
- Plants and material group managers in regard to the coordination of requirements and in regard to troubleshooting at suppliers' (e.g. delivery bottleneck)
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor degree or above
- At least three years of professional experience in CIP/production/industrial engineering/quality (preferably in the automotive supplier industry)
- Profound knowledge of Supply Chain Management
- Experiences in quality systems and supplier audits, including adequate instruments
- Knowledge of MS-Office
- Fluent in English

Job Description:Area of responsibility includes several material groups, several Brose locations, internal stakeholders at various hierarchical levels and local, regional & global suppliers.Implementation of regional commodity & supplier strategies within assigned area of responsibility. Providing regional input to global commodity & supplier strategies.Establishing such networks with both internal / external stakeholders to secure cross-functional cooperation and early involvement of purchasing in upcoming projects or procurement cases.Understanding and analyze of requirements and demand in mid & long term perspective. Actively contributing to cost / process optimizations at early stage. (e.g. bundling, demand management…)Market and product researching for assigned commodities / projects to identify new innovative production processes, technologies or solutions. Finding and qualifying alternative / new suppliers via conducting of necessary supplier audits in order to establish and maintain strategic supplier base.Leading purchasing process for upcoming procurement cases, including specification analyze, RFx process, quotes and cost breakdowns analyze & comparison, negotiation concepts preparation & negotiation, (pre)decision meetings on regional (global) level, contracting, ordering, assisting during acceptance & payment process. All of above with clear aim to secure on time delivery, optimum quality, contribute to cost optimization and applying Total Cost of Ownership approach.Applying appropriate level of risk management such as (but not only) supplier financial ratings, dual sourcings, timely planning and monitoring, creating and executing of action plans or other relevant activities.Regular reporting of required KPIs.
